For your convenience all face to face consultations with Doctors, Nurses and specialist staff are by appointment. These appointments must be made through reception staff. A separate appointment must be made for each person.
Please note if you are more than 20 minutes late for an appointment it is possible you may not be seen.
You are free to consult any GP or nurse regardless of which GP you are registered with although it is better for your care if you try to see the same one every time. The practice will endevur to help you with this but appointments with a particular GP may not always be available.
The practice now offers telephone appointments with a doctor or nurse
- If you have a problem which you think could be resolved over the phone, let the receptionist know
- Please give clear details to the receptionist of your problem to ensure the telephone is the most appropriate way to deal with it
- Some problems cannot be dealt with by phone and you may be asked to attend the practice
- The doctor/nurse will need to phone you back so give up to date contact details and when you will be available to receive a call
Telephone consultations will usually take place between 9am and 12pm for morning calls and 2pm and 4pm for afternoon calls. Please ensure you are available to speak to during this period.
Manchester Extended Access Service (MEAS)
MEAS provides GP, Practice Nurse and HCA appointments during weekday evenings and at weekends, increasing the capacity and extending the operating hours of general practice in Manchester. The service is provided from hubs in existing GP surgeries, strategically chosen to ensure ease of access and equity for patients.
If you would like an appointment during extended hours please contact the surgery and a receptionist will book you in. If you would like more information, please click the link below.
If you would like another person present at your examination, please let the doctor or nurse know and they will be happy to arrange this for you.
If English is not your first language an interpreter can be used for appointments. As this needs to be organised in advance please let reception staff know when booking, indicating your preferred language.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else. Every year hundreds of appointments are wasted please don't add to this.
Home visits are at the discretion of the GP and will only be made when it is impossible for a patient to get to the surgery.
If a home visit is required then please telephone the surgery before 11.00 am.
