Scam Email Warning – Please Be Aware

We are aware that some patients have recently received fraudulent emails falsely claiming to be from our practice. These messages may state that your online access is locked or that you must update your details, download software, or take urgent action.

These emails are not genuine.

Scam Email Address

Patients have reported messages from:

noreply@yourhealthcareprovider.co.uk

This domain is not linked to our practice and forms part of a wider phishing scam targeting GP surgeries. We have reported this domain and encourage patients to report any messages received from it.

How to Identify Genuine Practice Emails

To help you stay safe:

  • Emails about your NHS Account will only come directly from official NHS services
  • Emails from our practice will always:
    • Come from an @nhs.net email address
    • Include our official practice email signature(s)

If an email does not meet these criteria, please treat it as suspicious.

What to Do if You Receive a Suspicious Email or Text

If you receive an unexpected email or SMS that appears to be from the practice:

  • Do not click any links
  • Do not reply
  • Forward the message to report@phishing.gov.uk
  • Delete it afterwards

Stay Vigilant

Other scam emails and texts claiming to be from GP practices are also circulating. Please remain cautious and contact us if you are ever unsure about a message’s authenticity.

Your safety and security remain our priority.
