Postnatal Checks:
We understand the importance of postnatal care for both mother and baby. Our postnatal checks are designed to ensure the health and well-being of new mothers and their newborns. These checks include:
- Mother’s Health Assessment: A comprehensive review of the mother’s physical and emotional health following childbirth.
- Newborn Health Check: A thorough examination of the newborn to ensure they are healthy and developing well.
- Breastfeeding Support: Guidance and support for breastfeeding mothers to help with any challenges they may face.
- Advice and Support: Providing information and resources to support new parents during the postnatal period.
Our postnatal checks are done when the newborn is 8 weeks old. These checks take place every week on a Thursday morning with a GP and a nurse.

Routine immunisations take place every week on a Tuesday or Thursday afternoon between 1:30pm and 4pm with a practice nurse.
