We are trying to improve the ways you can receive your test results. We hope to have some results available for you online/using this website.
Getting your test results
Please do not assume that a result is normal if we do not contact you. The surgery will contact you if there is a significant problem with your results, but please contact us for all results as the GP may have made some suggestions or advice based on your results even if there is not a significant problem.
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
Viewing Your Test Results Made Simple
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
Using the NHS App or NHS Website
- View your test results securely as soon as they are available—no need to wait for a phone call or text.
- The app or website lets you revisit past results whenever you need them.
If You’ve Consented to Text Notifications
- We can also send your test results via text message, if you’ve opted in.
Questions about your test results
- If you want to talk to someone about your results, call the practice on 0161 272 5656 and book a telephone consultation with the GP. Alternatively you can contact us via our test results request form and someone will be in touch.
How This New Version Helps
- Prioritises the easiest option—the NHS App online access—reflecting the most efficient and modern method.
- Clarifies the alternatives, ensuring patients understand that calling and text options remain available.
- Uses patient-friendly language, making it clear and approachable.
